They are one of the commonly used membrane filtration methods. Unlike the treatment methods like nanofiltration and reverse osmosis technologies, without making any change in the chemical structure of the water, it makes an improvement in all physical features of the water at maximum level.

Ultra filtration Systems ensure maximum improvement in the physical properties of water without making any changes to its chemical structure.
Through the use of ultra filtration technology, 99% of suspended solids (SS) and turbidity in water are eliminated, while color pigments and most importantly, bacteria and viruses possibly present in the water are eliminated completely.

Providing significant benefits in especially the treatment of spring water or drinking water, ultra filtration methods are also used in waste water treatment. In particular, applications such as recycling of treated waste water in biological treatments and recycling of laundry and car wash waste water are among the basic applications of positive pressure ultra filtration modules.
The structure of membranes is in the form of a capillary pipe and they work according to the cross-flow method. Raw water entering the capillary tubes passes through 0.01 micron sized pores on the membrane’s surface serving as a barrier for bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms thus allowing for water purification without the use of chemicals.

Backwash and cleaning operations of the system are performed through automation. The operation of the system does not require any human intervention.
